Laying on the couch watching the 70′s film exploitation movie “Machete”. What a way to spend another night practicing the religion of insomnia. I just left a great job that let me interact and speak to people of every background, race and general status – which is the main thing I find so intriguing about US politics (I’m a Political Science major).
I lay here waiting for another chapter in my life to start. Next week I’ll be moving to my grandparents house to take care of my grandfather. He’s nearly completely dependent after suffering a stroke and other physical injuries that followed. So I’ll be staying with him while I finish school.
Classes couldn’t start soon enough. Whenever Spring and summer semesters are in session – I’m not in attendance. Fall and winter are the times I enjoy the most for simple fact that in school and just.. Learning. I sometimes joke that I’ll be in school until I’m 40 but I strangely don’t have a single problem with that (other than the cost).

It’s bed time..

I just can’t

Watch this “debate”. Seriously. This is the stupidest thing I have ever watched and I’m done. After watching a third of it, I can finally say the stupidity of Romney accusing Paul of working from the President of Iran’s playbook (2007) has been trumped. Good night.

anticipation for the next post

So it’s a early morning overcast kind of morning and I’m just pumped for the work day to be over. I’m going to watch the CNN primary debate tonight (a wee bit late, I know) and make a oh so lovely post on the candidates. Going to include some info on those who didn’t attend and have recently announced as well. This post really has no reason to be published, I just love typing on my mobile :)

blackberry test

Well now. After quite a long time off I am back in action — this time posting from my ohsolovely Blackberry Torch.

I don’t know what it is about BB’s. I just can’t get away from them. Evo 3G? Yeah, it was nice, the apps and display were amazing but even with the extended battery couldn’t last a full day with me. IPhone 4? It last about 36 hours (ownership, not battery life). Once again, great apps – greatest rival to android market – and the resolution was absolutely disgusting. But, for both of these phones, their battery just couldn’t make it a full day.
I also am no fan whatsoever of touchscreen-only phones. Having the keyboard – the BB keyboard – has proven to be, time and time again, the most efficient choice one can make. I use my phone for email and text, to a fanatical extent. I like a few handy utility apps, twitter and fb, and things like the weather channel. I have a computer for everything else.

I may not be able to get an app for every facet of my life, but I’m fine with that. Now the only question is will RIM be able to stay competitive and recapture their market share to remain relevant in the mobile industry?
